Yes.
To the other people who don't know the definition of American:
Americans means people of America. Canadians are not Americans.
Countries around the world call people that live in the U.S. the term American.

Canadians are not much different than most non-American countries.
They choose their leadership based on how tough they say they will be on the Americans.
Once the 'election' is over, the leadership goes about pointing out how frustrated they are because all the problems they can't solve are the American's fault. Bombarded with that song all day everyday eventually has an affect.
Their problems really are the result of a failed attempt to create some sort of blend between socialism and captialism.
They are embarassed by having to rely on the Americans.
For instance: Canada begged the Americans to accept more imports of soft wood lumber even though the US has laws against imports from companies that are subsidized by governments. Bush saw that the lumber industry in Canada would go belly up otherwise. The US might need that strategic source some day so here we are. In this case, we truly can say; 'Bush-did-it'. He caved and made the exception.
Canada is dripping with natural resources, has one of the world's most strategic locations, is a neighbor of the most power full country in the world, is the second largest nation on earth and everyone needs to be reminded that it's even there.
That has to be frustrating. I don't like that they lash out but, I understand it.

My brother is continually insulting me and the music I hear to. even regardless of the indisputable fact that he's commencing to get into metallic, he nevertheless refuses to take heed to the bands that i think of are proficient. in college, as quickly as I point out that I frequently hear to metallic I the two get laughed at and made relaxing of or basically concept to be a poser. the only different insults i'm getting are from human beings questioning that's surprisingly stressful that i'm continually talking approximately music and basically music.
