Ok, it starts like this my husband comes home from working a 12 hour shift .Goes to bed, then when he gets up he don't seem horney or anything like that. Until about 20 or 30 min before going in to work he starts getting a heart on. Now here I am thinking why you get one on right before work why not when you are at home, it seems alittle weird to me and I'm the wife, I feel like if he's horney he should want to have sex where he will not have a big thing standing up when he goes to work. I'M CONFUSED ABOUT THIS CRAP....

This is text book. He is exhausted and it sounds like much of his time is spent at work. Cut the guy some slack. Discuss your concerns. He get reved up right before work because he is waking up. And I'm sure its gone before he gets to work. PLUS.. it has something to do with you if it is BEFORE he leaves for work. (not during work) Maybe with the long hours and off schedules, you two just need to make some time for each other. See if you can't get a weekend with just the two of you. I think its normal and nothing of huge concern. But if you are concerned about the status of your marriage... TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT.
And best of luck. I hope you both are able to resolve the problem.

Its a guy thing maybe while you both are getting ready he gets turned on by your naked body and he wants to tear that stuff up. Im the same way and it doesn't mean i'm doing nothing wrong. It's the way hormones work

What's funny is that I have that problem in reverse....I am not in the mood but a little before I know he's leaving for work, I end up getting all worked up and wanting to but he has to get ready for work then! lol

I just assume it's bad timing.....

Could be he's too exhausted after working 12 hours... then after he gets some rest he's ready to go. Also, it's very common for men to just wake up that way.

men are weird about sex, especially once you get married. they either never want sex, or only when the woman makes the move. you've got to be straight forward with him and tell him you have needs.

ive done 12hr shifts for a long time. it does strange things to your body chemistry and internal clock. just roll with it and be there for him. its pretty hard to be excited about anything short of sleep after that shift.

MAYBE WHEN HE GETS HOME HE IS SO STRESSED FROM WORK AND TIRED..SEX IS NOT ON HIS MIND..AND HE WANTS TO BE IN A GREAT MOOD BEFORE HE GOES TO WORK..SO HE GETS HORNY...AND WANTS YOU TO PUT A SMILE ON HIS FACE FOR WORK

I think you may be reading into this way too much. Don't you know that his other head has a mind totally of its own?

It is normal for a man to wake up with a hardon. He could have been haveing a wet dream before he woke up.
