Of course you can

But as with anything in this world there will be those that have their say such as i am here,
I take it you have came across some questions like where you seeing each other whilst you where still married, are you pregnant, dont you think your rushing into things.
I guess it also matters to those close to you on how long it has been since you where seperated before getting engaged, cause all they want is for you to be happy and safe and to feel like your making the right choice.

At then end of the day when everyone has gone home and turned of their pc's and you climb in to bed and there aint a doubt in your mind your doing the right thing then that is all that matters not what other people think.

Good luck with your new partner and merry christmas

If you suspect that you may go through a messy divorce, then absolutely lay low with a significant other. The judge will not look lightly on this subject. Keep everything under wraps and do not let anyone else know you are seeing someone else until your divorce and possibly custody case is a done deal.

You can, but it's not great form... and doesn't give you much chance to work out the stuff that you screwed up on in your first marriage (not to mention being mad at what your spouse screwed up on). So you'll probably schlep the problems of your first marriage into the second one too so that one will have a good chance of going toes up too.

i don't think an engagement is a legal deal or i guess you can be separated non legal also-so i don't see why not-if all the combatants are willing

An engagement is not really an official event, with a signature.
So yes.

Why would you want to?
Havent you learned your lesson yet?
Take time to get over the emotional flip flops youll be going through during and after the divorce and take time to get to know THE NEXT person you are marrying BEFORE you marry them FIRST and THEN find out you cant stand them.
