I mean, do I just jump into a pre med school when I get out of high school. go to a regular school nearby and get bachelor's degree THEN get into pre-med? and then what? is there just Med after Pre med? haha I'm completely lost and I have no clue as to what to do or what these schools are offering. I'm looking into Kettering and Emory currently.

There are lots of paths, but the best advice is to contact the medical schools you are most interested in and find out what they want you to have taken and what is the best way to do it. I have been out of touch, but there were programs of 3 yr pre-med followed by medical school. Some schools would prefer you have a wider grounding in college courses while others are happy to have a strong science focus.

Yes, go into a pre-med program if you can. If you get rejected, then you can try to go into a bio program and later do pre-med, but that's a lot of school and sort of a waste of time because you might repeat a lot of courses.

Then you can apply to med school right away, or do grad school first and then med school if your grades are weak.

The ideal route is pre-med, then med school.

Good luck!
