Generally, fish stores don't sell fish eggs (only the actual fish). The only "eggs" that I know of that the stores sell on a regular basis are brine shrimp eggs (to grow for feeding fish).

If you're looking for eggs to raise fish, the only fish I've ever seen commonly sold in the eggs state are cat sharks (a real saltwater shark that gets 3-4 feet long and aren't for beginners!) or killifish. You can find killifish eggs for sale through Aquabid (http://www.aquabid.com/ ) or through the American Killifish Association (http://www.aka.org/aka/modules/content/index.php?id=2 ).

You could also see if there local aquarium groups near you that raise these fish.

If you're looking for fish eggs to eat (caviar), or to use as fish food, you may need to find a specialty food store.
