True journalists will NEVER divuldge which presidential candidate they are for... reason: it's UNETHICAL.... a journalist's JOB is to REPORT, not to INFLUENCE....they are not SUPPOSED to weave their own OPINIONS into the stories they are reporting. However, CERTAIN candidates seem to get more press then others... first off because they have made bigger names for themselves PRIOR to the presidential races... (Clinton being former first lady AND a senator from NY, Obama being a senator and an elloquent orator, Edwards being a former Senator from North Carolina and a FORMER candidate int he last election, Rudy Gulliani who was the former Mayor of New York City during the 911 attacks)... these are considered the FRONT RUNNERS by the media because they've been around political circles for MANY MANY years.... so they get the most "press"....but NO newsman can LEGALLY sit at a news desk and come right out and SUGGEST who you should vote for... it's a matter of ethics.

Faux News gives Rudy 20 to 1 coverage over the other Republicans.
I would say Hillary gets the most Dem coverage.

No One at this time.
They only report poll numbers
Funny thing about the polls, The call 538 people, and based on their responses, the extrapolate the totals to falsely inflate the results. For a true sampling, they would need to call every legally registered voter in the United States.

I find that CNN seems to root for Hilliary or Guiliani, I saw them saying yesterday that the Hillary camp knows some dirt about Obama but they aren't going to use it. They say that its an attack thru innuendo. I think its strange that it made it to the news if there was only a rumor that they may know something.
I would hardly consider this journalistic integrity.

The Democrats like Hillary Clinton. The GOP tend to support Rudy. The media more or less gives each of them a decent amount of airtime and generally beneficial coverage.

I'm not sure, but I don't buy the notion that they areall for one candidate, they want a horse race, one one front, the reporters love this stuff, they want it competitive, its just more fun that way, and also, a competitive race will increase public interest and therefore, more people will tune in, so better ratings for them.

Giuliani
It is no surprise really. One, the media is conservative because it is all corporate owned and directed. Second, Giuliani was New York-based and he made all sorts of contacts with the media.
