Haven't been to Vegas since I was 16 so I have no clue what the best nightclubs are to celebrate my next birthday at.
I like a place that plays a variety of music (not just that trance crap all the time). Good stuff that I can dance to.

There are lots of night life casinos from LAX to a new one at the Luxor to one at the Pallms and one at Wynn to the Hard Rock or Planet Hollywood. Go to www.lasvegas.com or www.lvrj.com (on Friday read the neon section).
Realize the cost of drinking at those places is VERY high! And there is a dress code.
If you haven't been to Vegas since you were 16 you are in for a major shock. Gone are several Strip casinos with new huge ones under construction.

The best nightclub in town changes every few months so if your birthday isn't until next year then who knows. Some of the hottest clubs today may be closed by next year and there are new clubs that will open next year that could be amazing.

I think there is a night club called the over looking Voo doo Lounge is the Place and bring a camera. Have fun.. Wear ear plugs it will drown out the rap music. You will hae a better time with adjusting to the volume!
I went to the Voodoo lounge a couple of times it is for the younger crowd. Check the website first And see what music they have. do not drink POLICE check you out there a lot.

PollyEsthers is fun, they play different music in each section. Tao and Jet are good also. The ones the celebs go to our LAX, GhostBar, Rain and Pure, but they are not really good dancing clubs. They are the go and be seen kind of clubs, and charge lots for cover and drinks. Look at their websites for your style.
