Just to get and feel healthy again, so that I can take back control over my life and home. I've just fallen so far behind in everything and it's gotten to a point that it's almost overwhelming. Picture this, Wick.....I'm 56 years old and have nine grandkids.....and my doctor has me on PRE-NATAL vitamins for an extra boost. You should have seen my husband's face when I came home with them....priceless!..lol!

My short term goal is to make a desert for Thanksgiving dinner. The obstacles are that I am not a good cook.... even though it's a simple recipe and I have made it before, I just never know how things will turn out.

To run a marathon in March. Been training for about a month now and I love it. I will be running it 3 weeks before I turn 42!

The only obstacle is getting the motivation at times. Sometimes I get to the gym and just stand there for a few minutes....LOL...but then I see the muscles I'm getting in my legs and it fuels it. There are other gym members who have heard about the marathon and they are very encouraging. I can't talk anyone into running with me though! It can be boring doing it alone.

My immediate goal? Hmmmm. It's 6 AM, and I've already drank half a pot of coffee. Both my girls have been in the bathroom getting ready for school, for a half hour so far. My current goal is to get them out of the bathroom in the next twenty minutes before my bladder explodes! It's snowing and way to cold to go outside, and with my luck that would be the time the snow plow comes down the road.

Living long enough to one day see our son and grandsons
that have been out of our lives for more years than I want to
count. He has shunned his natural family and one of his sons'
has never seen us, and the older one, not since he was about
2. I would also like to see my son and give him a hug, if he'd
let me. All these years, part of me has been missing, since
he stepped out of my life. And I need to feel he's again part
of his natural family, before I leave this earth.
The obstacles are his foothold in his religious beliefs and
also my declining health. I hope that I could be in limbo for
a few years instead of more things breaking down. I'd sure
like to stall the decline I've been experiencing the last couple
of years. Maybe our son would relax a bit and at least, try to
see us once again. If nothing else, than for his youngest son
to meet his only living grandparents.

To have a bit of pleasure out of each day.
To make my husbands terminal cancer less unpleasant.

The obstacles are the fear of the future, the pain, lack of income.

The facilitators are enough saved to get by on, a nice garden, beautiful pets, a wonderful free medical system in Australia, beautiful palliative care nurses. Access to pain killing drugs and the chance sometimes to be well enough to do things like when we went to a winery on Sunday, and sat by a river and planned a fishing trip- and the reason we didnt was RAIN not PAIN.........beautiful rain in this drought, I can dig in my garden and when he is having a bad day he can watch me through the window as I work.

My goal is to keep my positive mindset and complete everything I have set my mind to. Each day I write down small goals, even if it's just reading a few chapters in a book and at the end of the day I am grateful that I have accomplished what I've set out to do. It gives me more confidence in accomplishing my larger goals.

My goal is to get my parents place cleaned back up like it was when we were growing up or maybe even better.

What obstacles are in my way? Mom don't like to throw anything away. But we are working on that.

My greatest goal is to help my daughter by watching her daughter while she works. I must keep my good health and life long which are more challenges than obstacles because I am in great health now.
