JM: I actually get many ideas for questions from the answers I receive. I just got one for another day from this question.

HOW do you come up with these? Glad you haven't blocked me.

With what is going on in our house at the moment, I hope not. The two guys( 32 and 35 years old), have ad a fallout. They are both 6'2". And one is working and other is not.

I am seriously worried, because the one who is working, has stopped going to church, and is drinking a LOT on the week-ends and getting very abusive toward the other.

The other one, is having some treatment for "Anger Management", after a nervous breakdown. Now BOTH, were straight A students, and probably know as much about computers than some of Bill Gates top people.

As each week-end approaches I actually dread it. And I am worried that the one is going to snap. I can't afford to move out until my Seniors Pension comes through in February 2008. I feel like I am bringing up two children again.

I DO HOPE the neighbours are not going to copy them.

Actually, they do a little bit. We used landscaping timbers out front...both neighbors came over and looked and not long after they did the same thing! Because we now come in the side garage door instead of the front, I decided to pretty it up by putting up a plaque and hanging a wreath.....and again, the couple next door have done the same thing. No big deal.....just kind of funny.

However.....if I suddenly start seeing the same Christmas decorations or same style in any way, now that's a different story! That's the one thing that I like to truly be my own.

As a matter of fact, our next door neighbors copied us by
putting a sign on their front door to prohibit anyone from
entering with a cigarette, because they are quitting smoking
next door.
I have a sign on our front door banning anyone from entering
with a lit cigarette as well. For I have an oxygen machine
going and any sparks in side near the machine could cause
an explosion with pure oxygen in the air. So I was amused
that they put up a sign on their door. A little neighbor girl
printed their sign for them she said.

If anyone has a problem with neighbours copying them try this......if you are on speaking terms with them tell them you are thinking of buying something (something that is so OTT that you would never dream of buying of course) or that you're going to do something in your house or garden and sit back and see how long it takes them to do it "first". Might not stop them copying you completely but a couple of unnecessary purchases from them will leave the coast clear for you to do what you want to do....they won't have any spare cash left to copy you lmao!!

Hi Wickwire! No one copies me, I think because I have the worst house on the block! lol! I am doing the inside first and then the outside. Like Goldwing I want to fill up my yard for more privacy and because land is scarce.

Justme, And I thought I was having problems...My prayers are with you! xoxo

No, but I have noticed in the last few years that many neighbors try to outdo each other when it comes to the amount of Christmas lights. My street gets so colorful that I don't need any lights on inside my house at night! LOL

Evenin' Wickwire!

I'm not the kind of person that my neighbors would even begin to want to copy.

I live in an apartment complex with a lot of parents with young children. I never believed in letting children run wild and disturb everybody in sight, including those walking past the complex. I always controlled my child. I believe it shows we love our children when we do this.

However, they don't know the me inside of what they see. They couldn't even begin to keep up with me, they don't have the endurance.

Nope! we are one in each and every of four residences in our cul-de-sac. We take each and each others parcels in if one human beings is away. We substitute enjoying cards at Christmas and on the stroke of recent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days all of us look on our doorsteps eating and watching the large firework show interior the sky from different distant neighbours. and that's approximately it. Bliss sheer bliss

There is no way they could keep up! Every house on this cul de sac has its own personality..mine is fully private with plantings...right to the side walk...like a micro world within the gates. Ihave no use for a front yard for other's view...I want to use my land...land is just too scarce here in Southern California. Phil

In most ways, I sure hope not. We DO need more bikers on the block. Right now there are only 2, with one around the corner.
