Against.. its like saying you shouldnt listen to music in the car..

Its better to ban using cell phone while driving as this divert the concentration and attention of the driver , major causes for the accidents

well, i wish that it was more into the hands of the individual. some people obviously can't do two things at the same time. i'm all for reducing the number of accidents and do believe it will help. personally, i can drive just fine when using the cell and not lose focus on my driving. others can't and should know better not to use their cell. anyhow, it's going to happen. i already have my bluetooth.

I am most often against any government infringement on our day to day activities. That having been said, I do think that their is more at risk here than just the safety of the person who is trying to operate the vehicle and the phone.
SO... I would be more in favor of marketing a device that other drivers would be able to use when they fall victim to the "I'm too busy to check over my shoulder" or "pardon me while I don't use my turn signal... my hands are occupied". My proposed device would jam any cell signal in the immediate area and could potentially scramble the memory of any active near-by cell phones. I think this would serve as a deterent, don't you?

I live in a college town where every kid drives while on their cell phone. We have accidents everywhere!
I am FOR banning cell phones while driving!

I am for banning cellphones while driving cause the cause a lot of distraction and cause a lot of fatal accidents for the innocent people on the road it should be stricktly banned all over the world for people who are driving ,or they should be asked to do so only when their cars or vehicals are parked in the side bays

cell phones on the road aren't safe for long
young 16 yr olds on the phone while driving make me nervous, lol. No offense to you guys.
Answering the phone is still problem too. I'll go FOR.

For. It seems like every day after I get out of school, I get stuck behind another student who's texting while driving and going about 10 mph below the speed limit.

Absolutely for it-there are constant reports of accidents that the police have found the driver caused while using a c'phone. They are a deffinate destraction and should be banned.
