If you please can help me answer these questions, it would be really nice. I always get so confused with these so finally knowing a bit would be terrific. Thank you! l:D.

Two black female mice are crossed with the same brown male mouse. Based on the information shown in the table below, answer the following questions:

My questions are:

a. What are the genotypes of each parent?
b. Which trait is dominant?
c. Is the dominance of the trait in (b) completely dominant, incompletely dominant, or codominant? Explain your answer.

How are we supposed to help you answer these questions without having seen the "table" that your question talks about?

Why don't you do your own homework... read the book, work together with classmates, or ask your teacher.

genetics can be a major pain, but if you try thinking of it as a puzzle to be solved, maybe it will be easier. I always find that drawing out diagrams of these sorts of crosses makes it easier to figure out, but you'll find a method that works for you. It would help to work with other people on this sort of thing, as everybody sees things a bit differently and has different insights. Don't forget your TA (if you have one), or the instructor (if you don't). That's their job - to help you understand the material. Please don't feel shy about asking questions; shoot, that's why most of us enjoy teaching anyway - answering questions and seeing the light bulb go on is a huge ego boost...
