I honestly think they would cry, my grandmother who is NOT as old as the founding fathers has a hard time with the way people behave tword one another, and the way criminals have more rights than victims, and how everyone is so sue happy. Someone once said something like "you are guaranteed the Pursuit of Happiness, but you have to catch it all by yourself"

They'd want to know who in the HELL nominated George W. for the presidency in the first place... and then they'd want to know why he hasn't been tossed out of the White House yet.

I am mighty sure they would be horrified by most everything that is going on today. Taxes out of control, dishonest and greedy politicians, loss of freedoms. rise of militant groups within our nation, ad infinitum. Actually, my grandparents would feel the same.......there have been many bad things happening since their deaths some 50 years ago. Sad. sad. sad...........

it would be like asking einstein about english lit. their area of expertise was the time they lived in. the world has changed so much that they wouldn't know much about it anymore, so it wouldn't really matter what they said.
anyway, they weren't trying to satisfy authority figures as they rebelled and progressed. are you saying that as we progress, we should be preoccupied with trying to satisfy them? it would go completely against the course that set for us.
