.25 at a Texaco the summer I got my license 1972. And my parents still freaked at how much I had spent that summer on gas.

whilst my father labored at a gasoline station interior the previous due 60s, he reported that it was 10 to twelve cents a gallon. the main inexpensive fee that I remember grew to become into ninety 8 cents a gallon. That grew to become into approximately 8 years in the past. good now, 3 dollars may well be heaven. i think human beings up in Minnesota have not got it too undesirable regardless of the indisputable fact that - gasoline this is approximately $3.80 a gallon.

When I was a senior in high school, gas was $0.94 a gallon. Of course, this was back in 1994. But still! Gas prices are out of control now. I'm so glad I work about 2 miles from home, because I guarantee I'll be walking or biking to work come spring.

I think it was in the teens--like 15 cents/gallon back in the 60's. We had gas wars and cars would line up for blocks to get the best price as stations underbid each other. There was true competition, not the price setting and gouging we see today. Prices skyrockett over holidays and summertime.

.22 cents a gallon when I was a young child. Plus they'd check all your tires, wash your windows , check your oil and pump the gas for that price!

I paid .30 cents a gallon back in 1975 when I first bought my Ford Pinto. I could fill up my car for $5.00. I sold my Pinto in 1977 when the gas went up to .60 cents a gallon and I thought it was too expensive to pay. I refused to pay .60 cents a gallon.

Gas hit a $1.00 a gallon in 1980 and has been rising ever since.

99 cents back in 98'...it was crazy that was right before I got my car in 99' thats when the gas started to go up over a dollar...The when I got my caprice...it started sky rocketing around 2000 right before Bush got voted in. It went from like 1.50 to 2.00. then after 9/11 forget about it.
