Do you think we should all get an even amount of resources to survive off of regardless of job or rank and abolish all social classes, so that everyone is equal? Do you think the government should provide everyone who is able to work a job? Do you think, if this was the case, society as a whole would be much better?

You should do a good job because you want to contribute to society. Why do you need a reward for that?

Sure, unless were dealing with human beings. People are not absolutely equal. Each has different temperments, capabilities, motivations.
But lets set aside that issue.
How does one go about ensuring an equal & even distribution of resources? Who decides whats equal & even, the who manages the distribution of resources? Wouldn't those who manage the decision making & distribution processes have an unequal access to those resources? How does one make sure those folks don't take undue advantage? Spys? Police? Would that give them unequal power to accuse, detain & punish?
Okay let's come back to that one.
Say the first to issues are solved. If I'm going to get the same & equal access to resources by doing nothing, what is my motivation for doing anything? I''l get the same amount regardless & I think I'd rather spend my days drinking beer at the lake than digging in a mine or studying how to build a more eco-friendly building.
See, the number of even simple assumptions that drive communism ignore the very basic tenents of human nature, which is why communism is an unsustainable system for humans.
Works pretty good for ants & bees though.

Of course, we all WANT to live in equality. The fact that I've been trying to get across to you, is that we never will.

People do a good job at work to help themselves and their family to where then they can help others. Family comes first, always. You'll understand this better when you have kids of your own.

No I do not think their should be absolute equality. Why should I have the same as some lazy ba$tard who didn't work as hard as me. And why do you think the rest of the world deserves the same rights as I have in this country. If was the blood of my countries soldiers not theirs that was spilled to earn us these rights. Most of them were the cause of the bloodshed. You need to grow the hell up and move to China or Russia for your great equality. Equality indeed.....hmph!

Maybe, but should I show up to my job if I'm going to get the same as everyone else anyway? Or is just showing up to work good enough to get what everyone else gets? Do I have to try to do a good job because that sounds like a lot of extra, unnecessary effort?

That would be Utopia, if we could all live equally and happily as one race of humans and class, but it would never work.

Nope! That was already tried in the past. It doesn't work. It's called Communism.

How can there be equality when some people are sane and reasonable and others are cookey and irrational, kind of like you.
