I converted a dvd I own for my ipod. After it finished I checked itunes movies, but it wasn't there. Help!

I just converted it and usually they show up straight into my iTunes movies section, but it wasn't there this time. Did I mess up or is something wrong with my iTunes. Is there anyway I can pull up any dvd I've converted onto my iTunes? Becuase I don't know how to do that either. Any suggestions help! :)
