Jaylen and Jayden are both horrid names. I like Eli Jay or Eli James.

Jaylen sounds very feminine. How about Eli Jason, Eli Justin, Elijah James, Jason Isaiah, Eli Jeremy, James Ephraim..

I really don't like Jayden/Jaylen.. it's SO trendy and way too popular. There are thousands of better names. Eli is cute though.

I like Eli Jayden.

Eli Jaylen is nice, but the "el" sounds in eLi and jayLen run together.

Opting for Eli Jayden makes the two names a little more distinct.

Nice choice. Enjoy your nephew!

I think Jaylen is really girly. I'd say Eli Jayden or Jayden Eli, although I find Jayden to be feminine, too. I know Britney Spears used that, but seeing as her parenting skills are seriously lacking, I also think her naming abilities may fall into that category, too.

I dont like it, and here's why. Eli is a very very old Hebrew name, with alot of meaning and history behind it. Jaylen, and Jayden are made up names, that were probably thought up by soap opera writers. to put such a meaningful name with such a trendy one takes away from the history behind Eli. makes it sound much less intelligent. they sound alright together, but it just is a little too "old and new" for my taste.

Hmmm. WEll, I would say Eli Jalen. Eli is more of a first name to me. It is stronger whereas Jaylen sounds like it might need some support, thus make it a middle name. Good luck

To be quite honest, I think Jaylen is very feminine, Jayden is way too overused, and I'm not crazy about Eli.

Eli is a great name, but Jaylen is misspelled (properly Jalen), currently trendy for BOTH genders and quite L-heavy with Eli.

Jayden -- again, properly spelled Jadon -- has exactly the same issues, minus the L-problem, of course.

I wouldn't personally use either.
