Do you suppose I can get away with 13?

If it's 13 kick-*** pages and you get your point across perfectly, then yes. If you're teacher isn't an a**hat, he/she will get that you worked hard on it, and reward your effort accordingly, not nitpick over a couple of pages.

That being said, I wouldn't go shorter than 13. And a little handy work with spacing and font size can go a long way!

I once failed an internationally-recognized exam in the German language because I did not respect the volume limit (I wrote twice as much as we were supposed to :-)) and so it depends who the paper is for and also on the definition of what a page is. For example, Word shows me pages of about 45 lines each, but I charge my customers for translations according to so-called "normal" pages of 30 lines each (60 characters per line), so I use the page counter in the program to find the total number of lines, then the calculator in my mobile phone to find out the number of normopages. It is quite probable that the definition of what one page consists of varies both regionally and according to the person making the requirement. If you are writing this for a magazine, I suggest you view a copy of the magazine to get an idea of how long the articles are. In some cases they adjust the print size to make everything fit. If you can, it would be best to inquire directly.

15 pages
That would depend on alot of things did the teacher say 15 pages or so many words , single spaced, double spaced. Did you count the title page, and you could make a reference page. You could use a larger font. What is this paper about? I 'm sure you could keep going for another couple of pages, look at me I'm just going to town typing away at a long and drawn out answer to a very simple question. Best of luck kid, B.

No, you need 15 pages. You could double space, use a larger font, leave wider margins at the top and bottom of each page, but that is usually prescribed by your instructor as well. Do a bit more research and elaborate just a little more. Good luck. You are almost there.

You can if it's a good 13 pages and not just filler to stretch it out.
Better to have a good 13 than a weak 15.
(Or do what I do - use a bigger font and smaller margins.)

If you're a self-proclaimed Goddess of Grammar then get to work and stop trying to weasel out of two additional pages. Just do the entire 15. It can't be that difficult.

well, you could double space your lines, and in between sentences hit the spacebar twice, use the header option to put your name on each page, make the margin a little bigger.
not much induvidually, but alltogether it can get you a page and a half, and you dont have to type any more!!!
