I need help with power point presentation on Schizophrenia (i.e., a loss of touch with reality). I have never done power point presentation before so i want o know how do i start out ? which points should i include??what do i write??should i include causes-effects???

have your powerpoint application open. the insert button at the top of your computer screen will have the option of 'new slide'. add as many slides, or different screens, as you want. i don't know if you have a pc or a mac, but somewhere (possibly under format) there will be a button for 'slide layout' (basically the type of slide) and you can insert that type of slide. there are many types-title slide with text, with a picture, just picture slides, just text slides. experiment with it-it'll be easier once you get the hang of it. you can even add visual and sound effects if you wish under format, i believe. i have a mac, and most people have pc's, so it may be slightly different.

A common mistake with Powerpoint is, letting the powerpoint BE your presentation. It should only be your visual aid. YOU make the presentation. So, with that in mind, use PP to emphasize your important points, using bullets, charts, pictures, etc.

Do not use a bunch of writing that will take the class forever to read. Put main ideas and talk about them. You could use cause and effect...
