First let me say that she is absolutly beautiful. A quarter horse if i'm not mistaken? She has an intelligant face and looks like she's built for speed.
Some name options, hmm, here are some.
Autumn, Aurora, Blizzard, Cheyenne, Chinook, Dawn, Derecho, Echo, Eclipse. You said you were thinking of weather names, so there's a few I found off a website. I'll include the website underneath my source so you can look up more. Good-luck with her!

Those are all so cliche, they've been used in hundreds of horse stories. Pick something more 'new'. Or pick a name from another language that means the same as the weather choices. There are translation sites online, here's one -- http://babelfish.altavista.com/

Calypso, Storm, Flurry, Blizzard, Tornado, Hurricane, Typhoon, Rain, Snowy, Maggie or Kimmie (cute names), Dancer, Peach, Holly, Mimi, Wind......(I like Calypso the best but i have plenty more ideas if you like!)

OMG! she looks just like my palomino filly! her name was Buffy. She recently passed away because of an infection. Buffy or Lightning or Sunny. She deserves a beautiful name just like her.
