I've heard my mom say it both ways. How can it do both?

Showers definitely wake me up, good thing too because I don't drink coffee and showers are the only thing that wakes me up. If I don't have a shower every morning I am very tired all day.

A shower always wakes me up, but a bath helps me sleep!

It's like a time machine, if you jump into it before bed it takes you ahead a few hours to where you are tired, and when you take a shower when you wake up it takes you ahead another hour to where you feel like you have slept an extra hour.

When I shower in the morning it helps to refresh and rejuvenate and wake up.

A long hot bath before bedtime helps me to unwind and relax.
