I work at a hotel, Hampton Inn, and I was NEVER told why we don't allow pets.

Some irresponsible pet owners would leave them in the room all day...the pets would make a mess...or lots of noise, etc.

Usually two reasons.
1. They damage the room
2. Some people are severely allergic
Either one causes massive problems so some have decided they're not going to allow pets. It depends on the hotel.

hotels dont allows pets generally because they can go to the bathroom and do other things on the carpets and beds which can be very expensive also they leave a pet oder and hair everywhere which wouldnt be appealing to the next gusts in the room.

i work at a hotel also and we allow pets.....but we only allow them to go in smoking rooms which pisses ppl off if they dont smoke....i know it has something to do with allergies thats why we have to put dogs in smoking because if ppl have either one they get the nonsmoking....i kno this pry is confusing haha. and pry if its a nice hotel its because they're afraid of "stains" or something

maybe its becouse the pets can create chaos like scrathcing the furniture running aroind and make something fall.
