I need a word that can describe these drugs : cocaine, crack, heroin, marijuana and any other illegal drug.

The term used to include all "physically" addictive drugs is "narcotic". Marijuana does not fit in this list. It may be psychologically addictive but not physically.

1) Habit forming
2) Drug dependent
I'm sure that there may be other terms but, I can only think of these 2 for now.

Because when we first started using it all the adverse health problems were not known about,in the 1950s when i was a child i went to the doctors,and not only could you smoke in the waiting room,the doctor himself smoked! now if we made it illegal you would have a big black market and lots of criminal gangs would spring up to supply smokers,it would be like prohibition in america,also the government get so much in tax from cigarettes that although they give us the message not to smoke,they would be in big trouble if everyone quit!

U can't put marijuana in that category because it has know physical dependency and know1 in the history of time has ever overdosed on marijuana.
