And while helping them, you broke one of your nails down to the skin and it was even bleeding. Do you wish that you had never helped them because now your finger hurts?

Lost a front tooth, got an indian burn and burned off my eyelashes trying to help someone. They kept saying to me get back get back leave me the heck alone but I knew they needed help.
I wish I woulda helped them more, but when they came at me with the blowtorch I felt like I had to back off.

If I broke nail - then it broke! Can't do anything about that
now!
No I always help out whenever I can regardless of the circumstances - I am not that selfish or self-centered!

No, helping them was my choice screw a nail they grow back, or you pay to replace it.
