So he smoked pot in high-school. I do not care.. really no big deal.
The question I have is why is it that a Republican like Rudy has to stick up for him while his own party is quiet.

The same reason you wouldnt tell your boss if you smoked pot.
America's politicians have to answer to their boss. Their very stupid boss: The American public. Thus their actions sometimes seem stupid. But if we want smarter politicians, we have to be smarter voters.

Baracka Hussein Obama,Jr. is a fraud, a phony, and a disgrace expressly due to his stupid act of disrespect to the American flag during the playing of our national anthem. Any presidential candidate who shows no loyalty to our flag is unfit to occupy the oval office! Hussein Obama also used cocaine, and is a nicotine addict, however, he claims he has quit smoking! What? The Democrats in power are too smart to cover up for Hussein Obama. Hussein has lied too much about his religion, his illegal real estate deal with the Rezko family in Chicago, and why he joined an all Black church in Chicago, whose doctrine is pro-Black and racist. Moreover, Hussein Obama claims to be the Black candidate, when he is only 50% correct, because he is 50% White,which he never mentions as a credit. Hussein Obama is a polly-parrot, always copying the ideas and brainwork of fellow candidates, and fraudulently claiming credit as if the ideas were his own. Finally, Hussein Obama, has no legitimate qualifications for the office which he is seeking; he is dangerously inexperienced, immature for his age, and the oval office is definitely not the place for Affirmative Action placement or on-the-job training. This country needs a seasoned, tried and proven manager, who has the ability to deal with the many tough adversaries attempting to destroy our country today.

Maybe because his only claim to fame is that he voted against this war from the beginning. But what does that tell us? We all know that the war was based on lies, but at the time this was all going down, we didn't know that. So when your country's leader, Commander in Chief says its time for war, to defend the American way of life, and Obama is going against what is believed by most at the time, to be in the best interest of the nation, isn't he really saying that he is proud of voting in what was considered NOT in the best interest in the nation? When all of the truth did come out, he sure took it and ran with it. Sure, it made him look good, but notice that he keeps bringing it up. Why? It could be that with his inexperience, that might just about be the only thing he owns bragging rights on. The Republicans stick up for them because they are pretty sure if he gets the Democratic "Nod", they will easily defeat him, so naturally, they would rather that he win the Democratic Party, leaving them to have to deal with the "supposedly" weaker candidate, handing the Republicans the Presidency.

I don't think Democrats have ever been as "cohesive" a group -as Republicans are. Especially THIS Election season; the Democrats feel secure enough in their OWN belief system- that they each feel they can "take the hits" & stand on their OWN two feet. -While the Republicans are kinda forced to "stand together" & defend each OTHER- as well as the man whose done so much Damage to His Party, the past 7 years...-Bush.

Queen Hillary was anointed by the powers that be in the democRAT party (including herself) to be their standard bearer in the 2008 elections. Anybody who dared run against her was going to have hell to pay. Her hit squad (James Carville, hubby Billy, etc.) is going to reduce Barack to rubble. He is out of the race after the New Hampshire primary.

Because they don't have any obligation to stick up for Obama, he chose to write a book and state that... your right it isn't a big deal and I haven't seen anyone in the press make an issue out of it, so why would any other candidate need to defend him?

Come on, you should know the answer to this....It is called Hillary...She has dirt on everyone. She didn`t spend 8 years going though FBI file for nothing... They don`t support her, she will trash all of them. Only thing I know she does well...
