Bullies a woman but when another man confronts him?

he gets meek and complacent. He kisses ***. Why isnt he so tough and big when another man confronts him?

The reason he abuses the woman in the first place is because she is weaker than him. He CAN have control because she is usually physically and mentally weaker than him. Most men will crumble when confronted by another man. If a man is game enough to confront him then the abuser will know he will able to defeat him too. An abuser needs to have control. He cant control another man, so he abuses a woman. It makes him feel powerful. I have confronted a male abuser and I am a woman.....so the person who confronts doesnt necessarily have to be physically stronger, just strong of mind. The abuser also doesnt know another person's capabilities, so will usually always shy away from confrontation.....thats why most abusers will take their wife/partner away from family and friends, so there wont be anyone to get in the way of him controlling his woman. Abusers usually always flail when confronted. If you are the woman who is being abused, then please dont try to confront him. He knows you are weak and you will only get a beating or be abused if you try to change and become strong and assertive. It wont work. It has to come from someone else....but that someone else has to take it further, that someone else has to be prepared to get you out of the situation you are in. Its all very well for people to confront an abuser, but all that happens is usually the abuser will go home and take it out on his woman. The woman has also got to be prepared to accept the help. She cant allow someone to confront the abuser, but continue to stay....because it will only hurt her in the long run. If someone is prepared to stand up for the woman, then the woman needs to take advantage of the support, pack her bags and go with the other person to safety.

Because he is a wimp............. He has no control of anything in his life, except controlling someone who is smaller than he is. This woman needs to get rid of this loser as soon as possible. Nothing good will come of this relationship.........
