Good question! These days I like to associate the word whore with a vast variety of vivacious, vulgar, and vigilant vermin to verge on the volatile of voracity..... Sorry just watched V for Vendetta and the V's are running rampant lol. I don't even know what that means but what I guess I'm trying to say is. Yes, you are 100% correct! Take Peyton Manning for instance, he's not known to sleep around excessively or anything but I still consider him a whore... definitely a whore, I mean, how many times do you see this guys flat-headed mug during commercial breaks on any given Sunday? Do you think he does this because he likes to? lol don't answer that. I think he's just banging it out for the buck... the buck he doesn't need! and in doing so he's shed some light on the true nature of his character..... a whore.

Because, right or wrong, most people exclusively associate the word "whore" with women.

Yes, thank you!
If I need to use that word, I will say "whore" regardless of gender. Likewise, men can be sluts, skanks, and bitches as well. No need to change the word. :)
