Can someone be punished by the school for breaking into another student's house?

It depends, if it affect's the person's learning, but now a day's idk. School's are trying to bust EVERY little thing, the other day, my friends, who are twin brothers were like joking around and wrestling in the cafe, and spilled my coffee on the ground and they both got suspended. But if the person get's caught by the cops they will probs have some sort of charges.

Normally students cannot be punished for criminal offenses committed outside of school property. There are exceptions. Schools have lots of lead way regarding discipline. They can punish a student for such a crime, but it is not normally done.

They shouldn't be able to punish people for what they do outside the school..
But every schoo is different so I don't know.
