That is sad, the girl is clearly a complete wannabe.
How on earth did she get this part=half thing? Ask her to name all of her heritage...if she has a few things, or even a handful, ask her how she figures that she could actually be half of all those things, since she's part. Only two halves can make a whole.
If she is truly interested in that bit of heritage, I doubt there is much harm in being curious and actually wanting to learn some truths about things, without *taking* anything, if she can respect that there are things that are none of her business that she should stay out of. But to only care about the most basic detail, saying "I'm Indian," that is sad.

Don't stress out over it.
Remember this, the Native people in our country have been mixing with races from all over the world for over 500 years! Sometimes willingly, most times not.
Native Americans come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They all don't look like Tonto or like the Hollywood Indians in the old western movies. Most of the Indians in the movies were based on the Plains Indian societies, a small part of the total population.
It is every possible to be 1/4 indian and have blue eyes and blond hair. Genetics plays a huge part in it, you see.

Don't be too mad. If anything, you're being the bigger person by not acting like her. Often times, people associate the word "white" as boring or just "American." The truth is the nationality "white" encompasses many different cultural backgrounds. Many times Europeans and Middle Eastern people go under the category of white. Your friend just wants to sound more interesting, away from the majority categorized as "white."
Don't worry about, she'll mature over time :)

Umm my nice peers sure, however despite the fact that I love the women I hang around with, I wouldn't wholly believe them. It sounds terrible however I understand for a incontrovertible fact that they many times gossip approximately every different. Either manner is say I have a few peers who're both reasonable climate peers and a few who're like sisters to me.

Just be honest with her and tell her you don't appreciate her talking this way. If she balked at your comments, is she really your friend? Friends should be able to say their feelings and have an open conversation. Just be cordial and not rude. Be the better person!

Sounds like she has a lot of growing up to do. If you really dont like the way she talks and acts I would tell her . Be the more mature one and say it bothers you. Or dont spend time with her.
