72 is the record set by the Redskins but with the Jets and that High School team that has been playing for the Dolphins on their schedule is there any chance they might hang 72 or more on them?? {please be serious enough with all the spying and cheating crap for once}

The record for largest margin victory is 73-0 set by the Chicago Bears against the Redskins in 1940.

If there is any chance that the 67 year old record could be broken, it is on 12/16 against the Jets. I see Belichick stopping at nothing to humiliate Mangina and the J-E-T-S.

I'm thinking 76-0.....

Honestly, I think that's one record that is not on ther wish list.

Single season TD passes (Peyton Manning 49)
Single Season TD receptions (Jim Rice 22)
Wins in a season (72 Miami Dolphins 16-0, Incl Superbowl)
Point Differential for the season (Still a long shot, not sure what the exact average record was)

They want to rewrite the record books. More power to them. It's too bad that other teams don't strive for perfection quite the way they do.

No. They have been putting in Cassel, Eckel and Evans in the fourth quarter to rest Brady and co. and to give the back up guys some experience. They probably would put them in earlier or give Guttierrez some playing time at QB if there were more than a 35 or 40 point lead. If they put their minds to it, they could have scored 72 last Sunday at Buffalo. But that is one record they probably won't get.

No. They're capable, but they won't. They already get enough heat for putting 50 up on other teams. Now if some team manages to score 40 on them I could see them scoring 72+ with the argument that it was in the flow of the game.

You bet they'll set the NFL record. Tom and Bill want to absolutely humiliate eric mangini. I bet that they are aiming for 100 points, but my guess is that they won't hit it, but will get up to 72. Belichick had some mercy on the Bills because he likes their coach. But Belichick despises Mangini and wants nothing more than to humiliate him and get mangini fired.

i think BB is mad at Eric Mangini and the Jets so yeah...they're goinga light up the Jets...then again BB has a sadistic streak so he might hang 72+ on the Fins just coz he can!!!
