golds, browns, and pinks

I have brown eyes but a lighter skin, but a nice brown eyeliner, and olive/brown eyeshadow always looks great with your eye color. Never use blues or purples or other harsh colors. They just look icky, and like a 7 year old who got into their moms makeup. Finish it off with a soft, pink blush on the apples of your cheeks, and a nude/light pink lip. I hope i helped. :)

Have you ever heard when someone says they are a spring..this is a basic guide to follow.

You are not a spring. That would be blondes with light skin, green or blue eyes. You are not a summer because those are typically red heads. You are not a fall because of your dark skin. Usually fall has light skin too.

You are a winter because you have dark skin and dark hair. See the guide below..

Here are some examples of winters and colors that look good on them:

That would be a tough call without knowing the colors you wear or seeing your facial features. With light brown skin you can go to a dark color or a light color. Maybe you look good in red/pink but you could look better in a green or a beige. just hard to say

You're lucky enough to be able to wear any color but I think lavender and green look better than blue with dark eyes. Oh, and silver or gold is great to highlight the area of your brow bone and gray or bronze gives you a nice shadow between the brow and lid and deepens your eyes. A touch of silver where your eyes meet your nose will open your eyes up. One of Cher's makeup artist said she doesn't put eyeshadow on her lids, just above them only.

OK, stick to earthy browns, decadent plums, rich golds, and warm greens. Black mascara is OK, but a dark brown might be more flattering. Also a black eyeliner may look to unnatural, unless if your eyes are really really dark. Its ultimately up to you because I don't know exactly what you look like!! And remember..natural doesn't have to be boring!!!
Hope I helped!

Browns, browns, browns, and browns will look great on you! Also, light pink or just a hint of purple will look great too.

smokey eye makeup is gorgeous on people with brown eyes. i have brown eyes and when i was tanner, i used smokey eye shadow on my eyes a lot of the time. it looked really good. i prefer black/brown/grey, they're simple and don't look as clashy as other colors.

I have yellowish eyes and medium-light skin. I like goldish brown shades, or just dark brown or black.

Back away from the blue! I would use a soft brown palette with cream and maybe pink.
