90's rock was the best. for some reason most rock groups from the 90's had a catchy sound to them that til this day is awesome to rock out to. But i agree fall out boy isnt rock......it more falls into the category or whatever of punk. O but wait isnt that still a category of rock. yep I think it is.

Fall Out boy is good, I like Snow Patrols older stuff, there new stuff is good, but a bit popy. Check out there older stuff from the 90's its good. Finger 11, Yellowcard, blue october, Silverchair,
I also think Blink-182 is very underrated, they are pretty good actually.

I love Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance right now. Linkin Park, System of A Down, Radiohead, Weezer and whole lot of others that I'm too lazy to list. Love 90s rock as while. The 90s has the best music.

As for bands/artists that are relatively new, I'd say: The Chakras, Regina Spektor, The Clientele, and My Chemical Romance.
As for bands that have been around awhile but are still CONSISTENTLY making music (ie: no reunion acts): The Church, Third Eye Blind, Modest Mouse, and Radiohead (though they're on thin ice from the suckage of the past 2 albums).
Reunion/nostalgia acts: Smashing Pumpkins, Jesus & Mary Chain, and The Lemonheads.

All though many people put MCR, AFI, Green day, Fall out boy, Panic! at the disco are more Punk than rock. I also like alot of bands, but i'm suprised you also like Lacuna Coil, many people here hate them, i like them. Disturbed,Korn,LAmb of God, Lordi, Judas Priest are the most teander ones i can think off right now. I like metal much better, Arch enemy, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Dragon force, Mayhem, Scorpion, Demonic Christ,6th awakening, Kittie......
