On the South Shore, there's a wonderful little hibachi-style restaurant in the seaside town of Marshfield. The food is terrific and if you sit by the hibachi it's great entertainment. The downtown is undergoing revitalization and the soon-to-be revitalized plaza is taking on a new look. (Across the street in Library Plaza, there's even a new tapas restaurant -- Hola -- that is operated by the Saporitos who founded the Florence Club in Hull.)

The Melting Pot which is in the Framingham, outside of Boston is great.
