I know it's a timeshare presentation, and they don't provide transportation, but do you really get a free stay at a hotel and two tickets to a Vegas show, just for sitting through a two-hour presentation?
There has to be some other catch, no?
Although you still have to pay for your food, transportation, and everything else, right?

It is true that it's a timeshare. My husband and I used to do the timeshare route when our children were small and we did the yearly voyage to Disney World.
We always let the salesman/woman know right up front that we weren't interested in purchasing a timeshare and we were only taking the tour for the tickets or sometimes cash. It seemed we always had to repeat that information and continually said "NO". Yes we always did the tour and then shortly after asked how did we receive the premium for taking the tour. In your situation your lodging is the premium. DO NOT SHOW THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF INTEREST OR ASK ANY QUESTIONS THAT MIGHT GIVE THEM AN INKLING OF HOPE !!!!!!! They eventually get the message but only after they call in the "hard sell manager" for one last try. The longest we ever set through a presentation after the tour was 15 minutes.
Remember LV is a city of comps and you will always be able to get rooms for less then what they sell the timeshare for. And don't forget the yearly maintenance cost.
Sure take up the offer but go in strong.

It's true, but as mentioned you will have to sit through a high pressure sales presentation. Also, you won't be staying at Tahiti Village, but probably at the South Coast Hotel, an okay 3+ star hotel 3 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip.

Nope, it really is true. However the presentation will sometimes stretch to 3 or 4 hours and its a mind numbing presentation. They generally beat you down so much that you just give in. They make some valid points though so becareful or you'll end up owning a timeshare!

Tahiti Village is NOT on the Strip nor walking distance to the Strip. It is a freebie but a VERY hard sell presentation. Yes, you still have to pay for transportation, food, entertinament, etc. But remember that you still have to pay for transportation to Vegas, too.

Yes, This is all true. The catch is that you have to go to aome 3 hour meeting per day. It is also located off the strip (yes it is on Las Vegas Blvd. but it is far. You dont have to pay for transportation there and back though, they provide it. You also have to be a couple. No kids, and just 2 people. Hope this helped.

Strange that they have you stay at another location rather than the actual suite you could buy. Plus the tickets to a show is not the type of show you think ... usually a show you could get free tickets to on your own. Still .. if you can resist the LONG hard sell presentation you get your moneys worth.

omg. one of the most excruciating days of my life was when we went to one of the timeshare presentations. they said 2 hours.. it was more like 4.. like someone mentioned before, we sat there so long, we were so bored and mad .. wanted to go back to our hotel.. we ALMOST gave in..
we said no for 4 hours!! They sent over a manager to try again... then when we said NO WE'RE GOIN BACK TO THE HOTEL. He got pissed and stomped off. lol. We went to the lady who gives u your deposit back and your show tickets ... and SHE tried to get us to buy one again!! i thought that we would never leave!!! When i told her no, she says 'whatever, your mistake.. ' and slammed our tickets on the table. it was the weirdest experience i have ever had. They gave us tickets to Legends in concert (imperial palace) and dinner tickets to ip buffet (one of the worst in vegas!
i just got another offer in the mail.. 3 days/2 nights in vegas at bluegreen resort (if we go to their timeshare presentation).. i went on their website and the place was beautiful... but at the very bottom, in tiny lettering it says
bluegreen resort is reserved for our customers and their guests, you will be staying at one of our featured hotels.. or some crap.. one of the options was motel 6!!
dont do it!!!! stay far away from those sneaky timeshare people.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
I hear those commercials on the radio all the time then i read this question. Yes, i can say "High roller treatment baby" but doesn't make you a high roller and "high pressure sales presentations" means your not getting treated like one...
