I fixed the size on my desktop but when i sign on to yahoo or any page its small.

On a 27" liquid crystal show visual show unit for selection of 1920X120 will supply a pixelate result from the closer look. the form of extensive show screen looks extra advantageous from a distance. extra advantageous you think of for 21" or 24".

Lower your resolution.
800x600 is for ole folks with bad eyes.
Work up from there.
Personally I like 1024 res myself.

go to the top right and where it says page, click on zoom and click on 100%. hope it helps.
