Put it in the freezer for a couple of hours first. Then take that solid-water-filled glass and invert it.

I don't know how, but it works. Sometimes though, the water spills out at the end after you've put over ur head, so you have to do it a certain way, which I can't explain in text.

Move it quickly in a circle around you with the top of the cup towards the middle of the circle. The centrifugal force will keep the water in the cup even when it's over your head.

fill up a tub of water and put the glass in the tub and then turn the glass upside down

by puting clear (if it's a magic trick) wrap over it and turning upside down otherwise you could use any kind of covering!!
