I bought a used computer with XP Pro. I can't find the recycle bin anywhere on it.. Any idea where it is?

1. Right-click an empty area of the desktop and choose "Properties".

2. When the "Display Properties" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click the "Desktop" tab.

3. Click the "Customize Desktop" button.

4. A "Desktop Items" dialog box will appear. Make sure the "General" tab is selected.

5. Choose an icon to change back.

6. Click "Restore Default".

7. Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them.

its probably a bootleg version of windows. just reinstall windows xp on it because if the recycle bin is missing then other thing are probably not working properly. hope this helps.

It must be on your desktop. Go check again.

If not, go to start then "Help and Support"
and search for recycle bin or go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
and search under "R" for recycle bin
