I just took all of the wood screws out of my guitar. But since most of them are a little tarnished from age, I was wondering what products would work to remove the corrosion. I have cookware cleaner but I'm not sure if that would rust out the screws or not, because it requires rinsing with water.

If it is mild tarnish, try a little Brasso. Put a little Brasso on a string and wrap a few times around the screw. Then hold the screw and pull the string. This will act as a very small buffer and should clean up the screws quickly. May have do it a couple of times. Wipe off the residue with a soft cloth.

If it is thick scale on the heads, scrape off as much as you can with a small knife and then use a little emory cloth or a fingernail file to clean off the rest. Polish with Brasso and put the screws back in.

If you really want to go the extra step, clean the screw heads off with acetone or alcohol, let air dry, and then spray some polyurethane on the heads. Once dry, carefully reinsert the screws.

EDIT: Daniel's idea is good and you can put that on a string.
