remember this...........If your keyboard is set on american settings how do you change it? i cant seem to use the @ key. :)?
well i thought i had it sorted but unfortunatly it dident work :(
went through all your instructions but still cant seem to use the @ key. any ideas pls??

.Have you tried in:

Start, control panel, regional language and settings, select English UK, once selected, you should have the correct keys.

Hope this works for you.

Control Panel - Classic View - Regional and Language settings - Languages tab - Details

Select United Kingdom from the list :)

Click on Start, then go to Control Panel.

Switch the view to Category View (top left of screen).

Double-click on Regional and Language Options.

On the Regional Options tab - Choose English (United Kingdom) from the drop down list.

In the space that says Location (further down the same page) choose United Kingdom.

Click on the Advanced tab (at the top of that same dialog box). In the drop down box, choose English (United Kingdom).

Click OK.

As someone has pointed out, follow the setting changes BUT...

I always then make the new settings default and then delete the other language settings so that it cant ever revert back to US settings.

In Control Panel click on Regional and Language and change it to English UK.
