Live version from "Tribute" is much better. I just think I've heard the song too many times at sports stadiums now. I would agree that it is overrated. The song "Diary of a Madman" is the best Ozzy song ever. "Mr. Crowley" is a close second.

Your friend is entitled to their opinion. That being said, I don't think it's overrated or "old". It has a wonderful melody and nice lyrics, and it's fun to sing. I just don't see how a song about growing older and going through changes in life could ever be "too old".

It's a great song for a wedding ceremony. It's held up very well over time. Anyone who thinks something is too 'old' is showing their age bias. They think the world began the day they were born.
