This an adventurous time of year. You have limited options if you aren't outside.
You must "get out there" to enjoy it. Whether it is skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice fishing, the list keeps going.
If you are an inside or a fair weather person, options are going to be limited but not unattainable.
Hit the "Fake Beach" once a week at least. Join a Gym such as the Alaska Club, or Powerhouse Gym (there are some others). The point being, STAY ACTIVE! Take in a movie.
Try taking up photography. With a digital, you have a simple and inexpensive means of viewing Alaska from a different perspective.
You are living in the most beautiful state period. If you look beyond the cover, you'll find it most impressive.
