I was looking at bidding on this on ebay but what is meant by convertible. My well is only 25ft so will it work. Any ideas out there and thanks.

probley means that it will work for a deep well as well as a shallow one, why does every one insist on buying something on line when it may not even work? plus paying shipping and handling? go to a plumbing supply, or hardware, you will at least get one that works,
and have a warranty with it,

yeah it will work. I think 1/2 a horse if good for up to 100 feet

A deepwell pump will not work correctly at 25 ft. It probably is a good deal but you will not be able to use it...
