Living in Houston there is almost daily press on this story...The latest seems to be that they now have pictures of a girl (forget what state she is from and where her father lives) they think it might be...apparently the mother moved here and shortly after as her story goes someone from the fathers state showed up with papers and such saying they were a state employee and they were taking the child back to the father...the whole story sounds fishy as the mother never reported any of this until confronted and asked about her childs whereabouts...from what I have read and heard I think even if this is not Grace the parents of this child should both be sterilized and prevented from ever breeding again...BTW a beautiful wooden cross was handmade and placed at the spot she was found in and a large memorial was held for her...so even if her parents did not care about her many others did.

From what I have heard and read the police in Texas have taken DNA samples and already buried her. They are trying to figure out who she really was but havent had any luck yet with the missing kids that are in the same age that have went missing within a few months from the time she went missing. Dont know yet if they have went farther back since there is no telling how long she was in the cooler.

Its such a heartbreaking story. It makes my heart bleed.
We had a similar story here in Australia and the people involved in the case held a funeral service for the baby. They never did find the mother or father of this newborn :(

Yeah that's true. Even if it was a family member, it couldn't have been the WHOLE family. Some members of the family must have noticed. That is SO horrible. I just don't get why anyone would do that to anyone, let alone a little child.

This is the first i`ve heard of this and at first i thought she had been an abandoned baby until i read on, yes obviously it`s her family who is responsible, sick barstewards. Some people just dont deserve the term parents, i mean its bad enough injuring her without just dumping her in the bloody ocean, i`m sure they will be caught somehow with the DNA testing available nowadays and i hope they rot in hell.

Unfortunately, there are too many sad stories similar to this. The baby can be buried whether or not anyone comes forward or whether or not she is ever identified.

I haven't heard this story.
her mum is maybe a very frightened young girl who has given birth on her own and nobody even knew she was pregnant.
She can be given a funeral though if no one claims her.
What a tragedy
EDIT:
In that case then somebody knows what happened and that's why they are not coming forward. Its probably family who did it. otherwise they would have reported her missing. B*****s

That made me shudder, I hope they do D.N.A. tests to rule out the possibility of that little girl being Maddie McCann, but whatever the outcome, I hope she rests in peace, poor little mite.

That's horrible! I haven't heard of it yet, but you have to wonder what state the body was in to have to be aged by dental records... isn't it awful the way a person can do that - I wonder if it is Maddy?
