give your guests a CHOICE of toppings for that cheesecake.... A "holiday" topping fit for Thanksgtiving would be warm stewed apples and cinamon scooped over a slice of cheesecake. You can peel and cut the apples up, put cinamon, sugar and a LITTLE flour on the cut up apples and either bake them or pop them in the microwave until the apples are tender...let it cool a LITTLE and pour that directly on top of the SLICE of cheesecake.. Yum. you COULD serve this topping AND the strawberry topping ON THE SIDE in separate bowls so your guests could TAKE THEIR PICK..... also... try CANOLI....kind of a cheesecake in a roll... you can buy canoli "wraps" in any gourmet shop and fill them with your own homemade canoli filling... (cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, maybe some chocolate chips or Butterscotch chips...

Wow... that sounds DELICIOUS !! (Cheesecake w/strawberries).

Take hardened jello, add some simple canned fruit (esp. cherries and pineapples) and then spray a large amount of whipped cream on top of this mixture. Get a wooden spoon or a whisk and fold all this together [ hardened jello, fruit, pile of whipped cream ]. It comes out like a mousse but much tastier!!

I am making Paula Deen's Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake. I already made one and my hubby took it to work. OH MY GOD... I tried some before it left here... it is soooo good!

Just go to her website and look in her recipe index. It's a good alternative to pumpkin pie..which, in my opinion, has gotten quite boring.

Instead of pecan pie.. I am making Paula Deen's Pumpkin Pecan Pie. You'll also find that in her recipe index.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello,
Seven Layer Cookies are absolutely WONDERFUL! They are the greatest treat in this area. Cut them small if you make them because they are very rich and will make you sick otherwise. You can get the recipe online or I have it if you need it. Have a wonderful time with family and friends!
Thanks,
Eds

Well, if you Google "Spice Coffee Toffee Cake", you should find something.

It looks great as a centerpiece, actually, and it's really tasty.

Or, click here.
