Latley Ive been getting reported for some really stupid reasons...... I fear my account will be banned and ill lose all my points.... How many violations are you allowed?

They dont seem to have an agenda...
Yeah, like Unfrozen Caveman said, I think it depends on how much they like you...or something.
Maybe the severity of the content?
On my last account, I reached lvl 5, got one violation (for something petty...it was too chatty, I think) and my account was gone. On this account, I've had countless violations, and nothings happened. I hope it stays that way.
Yahoo likes to be vague about these rules, so that they can do pretty much whatever they want. When they do suspend you, the only reason you usually get is that "Yahoo! Answers reserves the right to suspend your account".

I don't think it's the number of violations. Some have got their accounts banned even with few violations. It depends on the content which you post I guess. Not sure.
