I've seen your questions before, so I know you're being sarcastic. People who think the war is for oil don't understand the situation of radical Islam, nor do they understand how dangerous a nuclear Iran would be and that we're not the only people concerned about it. Middle Eastern countries like Jordan and Saudi Arabia are even more afraid of it than we are.
Either that or you know more than anyone else on this planet including every world leader.

Actually, we went into Iraq to take down a tyrannical regime....oh, and, we did that.
"Ismail Ibrahim Said, 29, a police officer in Qaradagh, Iraq, talks about the day Iraqi military jets dropped chemical weapons on his home village of Derizane. He and his family fled into the surrounding caves, and then to Iran."
"Khawar Mahmoud, 55, pictured with her husband, came to the village three days after the attack and found animals and birds dead on the ground, and her brother badly burned. Her brother lost his pregnant wife and six children in the attack."
"A part of Sewsenan that was not rebuilt. Ms. Mahmoud said that after the attacks, doctors treated injured villagers in secret because survivors discovered by Iraqi soldiers were taken away and never seen again."
These are just a few captions of real photos from the NY Times website describing just a few things Saddam Hussein ordered done to his people. Here's the link: http://topics.nytimes.com/top/reference/timestopics/people/h/saddam_hussein/index.html?inline=nyt-per
On the right hand side is "Photographs: Remembering the attack".
Are you saying that we shouldn't have stopped this? That we should have continued to sit by and let him to continue to torture and kill his people? Please research things you don't know about before passing judgement.

What you don't think communists invade for oil or seaports(Our farm was outside of Vilnius) which is a major seaport. When the Soviet's invaded Afghanistan it was for natural gas.
So when are the Polish,German,Romania etc(All the former Soviet state's going to get repayed(Or the children 0r Grandchildren for that matter!) for all the money owed by your party.
Well I'll pray for you,may the scales fall off your eye's as they did mine.....(Thanks for reporting me you showed me my anger can get the best of me!)

Lots of countries have oil. However not many of them have attempted to secure the only sea port in an oil rich region by invasion. Iraq is not our enemy Saddam was. He was a brutal sadistic and very unstable man and his sons were worse.
Iran is not our enemy. It is however seeking a form of nuclear energy that leads to nuclear weapons grade isotopes which is in direct violation of the NNPT which they signed.
They fund terrorist groups throughout the region and have armed insurgents in Iraq. That last is an act of war and is justification for attack. We do not wish to attack anyone we only want them to live and let live.
Perhaps you would like to live in Iran where they could kill you for dating.

Aw hell I really hope not, that would be like the worst mistake we can make, just when we might be starting to make some real progress in Iraq we bomb a bordering country and all these terrorists come out of the woodwork, and we have this huge area, two countries and we won't be able to handle any of it.

Don't worry, we will. They are just looking for/planning a pretext, whether it be another 9/11 or another Gulf of Tonkin. We might be under emergency rule if it happens.
