Having grown up in a small town, I was definitely not used to meeting new people when I transitioned into college. I'm in my sophomore year, but I have yet to make a really lasting friendship. I seem to connect really well with guys, but then they always try to get in my pants, which is getting really old. Is there any good general way to connect with girls?

Thats a big problem in our society, not just what your dealing with, but as a general rule. Ladies have it harder then guys, its just because of the way the "game" works and how it sort of forces girls more then guys into competition with each other. But its all going to come down to you finding someone you can be comfortable enough with to be honest, and them be honest back. Good luck really, anyone who actually is attractive but doesn't in any way shape or form try to be would work well for you, the "prettiness" thing is what cause alot of the issues mostly because its a thing of opinion not something thats universal, BUT because of the game its treated that way. Way this is important is depth, a lady who has or has never been in the "sexin up" stuff is more likely have spent time developing themselves and making themselves better able to be good deep, genuine friends. Less that, try the lol sorority....
