I have not had my period after my first baby. How do I find out how far in the pregnancy I am. I have fluttering feeling sometimes in my stomach. What is that? Are you allowed maternity leave from work again so soon after having taken maternity leave the first time. (I had just returned to work 2.5 months ago).

Congratulations! I became pregnant just 4 months after my first baby so now my boy and girl are 13 months apart and it is wonderful.

They are so close to each other and are best friends and do everything together. He would be so lonely without her that I can't imagine how it could be any other way.

Since you're not sure when you conceived, your doc will probably get an ultrasound to take measurements and date the pregnancy. That should give you an accurate date within 2 weeks.

You should be able to get maternity leave, but maybe not quite as much depending on how much time you took before. Have you considered staying home after this one is born? With two children you will be busier and it might be harder to "do it all" (work plus housework plus mothering). I don't know if you can rearrange your budget or make some material sacrifices, but staying home would be well worth it and your children will thank you for it later. :-)

Oh, and if you are feeling fluttering or baby movement, you might be further along than you think - maybe 4 months or more. But more likely is that you are feeling bowel disturbances which are common in early pregnancy.

there are maternity laws that prevent an employer from firing you. dont worry your maternity leave is granted to you despite your pregnancy, its disability and you can use it anytime u want and need to

I am 7 months older than my brother. My mom said it was not planned and turned out to be hard in the beginning. She quit work to keep us both and later kept a couple of neighbors children as well.
Your doctor will do an ultrasound to see how far along you are.

Best wishes!

You should be allowed to get out from work and you should ask the doctor about that
