every day it seems CNN reports on the war in Iraq, except all the time, it is bad news. They seem to feel the need to report every troop death; they ignore positives about Iraq. For example how troop and civilian death rates have decreased this year. They call terrorists, militants. Dont believe me? go here. Im not in support or against the war, I just hate biased reporting. especially from a site that's "the most trusted name in news"

http://www.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2005/iraq.transition/

just read what is says throughout the whole page, not even the full stories, just the summaries.

"near-daily bombings"
"toll on support"
"wavering GOP support"
"us struggles with breadth, depth of war injuries"
"bloodiest days for civilians"
"the full price of the war in iraq"
"majority mistrustful of upcoming Iraq report"
"coalition deaths"

What sells papers?

Just what you wrote.

In all honesty, Americans in general have a very limited global view. Why should they be interested in how the people of Iraq are doing?

It's also that newspapers have a job--they sell papers. Are you really going to want to read a newspaper where they don't make you terrified? Probably not. We are a country based on fear.

What's wrong with CNN? We need to be reminded of the mess that we're in. We can't afford another rethuglican. All the conservatives use 9/11 as an excuse for everything. Give me a break. "Faux Gnos" thinks they're fair and balanced (about as fair and balanced as my grandmother's breasts) and they make Iraq seem like a walk in the park. Sorry, but war is ugly, it's never pretty, and really, what good news is there to report when everything is so f-cked over there? I hate to say it but the Iraqi people had better living conditions under Saddam. The truth is something that people just don't want to hear and want to avoid like the plague. The truth isn't convenient enough for some people. "Iraq is a threat to our country". Yeah, about as big of a threat as a crayon is to a 15 year old.

In a nutshell it's because they HATE George Bush. If John Kerry was in the oval office you can bet they'd be leaning the other way. For two reasons, one they'd be reporting on how he's cleaning up the mess Bush created and the other they'd have no reason to hide the progress that's been made. If anything they'd downplay the negatives as was done during the dark days of WWII.

They are all gigantic fronts in opposition to the reality and REAL information. Who cares approximately the election The U.S. is doomed regardless of who's in workplace mainly after the band of tyrants which are in there now. CNN is greater than reasonable, too dangerous Faux News does not get it. If you ought to inform individuals you're reasonable & balanced you then don't seem to be reasonable & balanced in any respect. Just a propaganda laptop from the Republican miscreants.

because CNN is an american news program to inform americans about the news and around the world but also in their country - you know the whole history of the war - they probably think that it would be anti-american if they did not be biased against the iraq war

So let me get this straight...

Someone who defends their homeland is a terrorist, but someone who invades under falsehoods, then poisons a country with depleted uranium in violation of several international and US laws is not???
That is absolutely absurd.

That said, you're right CNN sucks.
