Serial killers, murderers, rapists, druggies, ecetera.. Many of them say they were born this way or that they felt different from everybody else when they were young. Are they placed on this earth to be evil and commit sinful, murderous acts of violence? God has a plan for all of us and I know that everyone has their own freedom of choice but what if some individuals are just born evil? if that is even possible...Yet they are part of God's plan or somebody else's plan that God has for each one of us. And if they are predestined what part do they play in God's plan. And is it possible for them to change their ways and mentally unstable minds?

Well, you make a big qualifying statement - that God has a plan for all of us. If that idea must be allowed, then that certainly limits the range of explanations you might be able to consider.

These people are simply born into dysfunctional homes - if you don't love a child early on you get a sociopath - simple as that. It may not be God's plan, like, deciding who sits where in a restaurant, God's plan may simply have been to toss in a bunch of sunlight, matter, and growth force and let what shakes out shake out - which is still a plan, but not a micro-management saying this guy will get cancer, and that guy will be six feet tall, etc.

Whatever about God's intervention in it, if you don't love a child early on, you get a sociopath - who do those behaviors you listed - that's all there is to it. Can they change? No, not once they've frozen to death as little kids.

I think it is very probable. I've known a few people when I was young who could never conceive a civil thought. Every idea and action seemed to be, at best, negative. Or appeared energized with the promise of destruction. The two examples that came to mind were acquaintances from childhood. They did contain their actions to the point, while always in trouble, got as far as high school and then dropping out. Both are gone now, having died before the age of 21. I think it's a brain chemical deficiency of some sort. The brain produces many different chemicals for different purposes. And some people just do not have control over wrong doing. And I think this could very well be linked to brain chemical malfunctions.

Yes, I do believe that some serial Killers might be born that way, but the majority of them were made to be that way. It depends on their upbringing, and how their Parents or whoever were taking care of them were treating them. I sometimes feel sorry for kids when I see their Parents, in Department stores or grocery stores being hit in the Head or Body, how I wish I could do something for them, if one of these Kids grow up to be a serial killer, it's nobody's fault but their parents. There are a lot of violence going on in the World, why? we ask? If there were more Love, Compassion, Unity, and consideration, on the family's Part, I know we would have fewer Serial Killers on the loose, and fewer Deaths. I do not think that once a person who kills can be rehabilitated, it woul be a Miracle. If we say that God might forgive their Sins no matter what they did, we are only wishing it were true, God in his ten Commandments says "Thou shall not kill," so no mercy to the one that commits that heinous act.

Since when did druggies get on the list with serial killers, murderers & rapists? You have much to learn about what you consider to be as "evil". IMHO

Some of us have been to the other side & survived so that we may do what your kind can't, which is to go where you would never be able to go & save those who are worth the risk.
Why do we do it? Because someone did it for us. It only takes ONE PERSON to get through to another. I think it has something to do with having a language barrier because you most likely will never understand where I have been & I personally know that I would not want to be where you are at, but I accept you anyway...just as you are.

By attempting to force a meaning to what people do you will only bring more confusion. Even from the belief system that you hold men and women are generally trying to get what they want at any cost and what they want is permanent pleasure and no pain. The extreme behavior exhibited by a minority of humans is only the result of either a perversion or distortion of what society calls normal pleasures or the frustration with obstacles baring their way to pleasure. i.e. a living girl will reject a serial killer but if she is not living then she is no longer the obstacle to his/her pleasure.

You are struggling with why these people would exist and continue to do what they do if God is all powerful and merciful. You might take a good look at that. The last line of defense is to say that it is fate or predestination but that will surely contradict every aspect of salvation by grace.

If your view is correct, then why are abortions allowed for the victims of rape. Would you not say that these " children " would be predestined? I feel that the woman has the right to make a choice. (not carved in stone though). Yes these children can be put up for adoption and NEVER know why they were conceived. If they were raised into a different world then where they came from then they might have have a chance of a "good" life.

Dr. Phil did a show not to long ago about this sort of thing. He had parents on that had children between the ages of 3 - 16 who had tried to murder or had murdered. It was horrible. One kid tried to kill his parents like two times by poisoning them. Another kid shot his parents with a shot gun and stabbed them afterwards. There were a few other really sick incidents involving youngsters. So yes, I think serial killers start off as weird or unusual kids. Plus I have about 100 books on serial killers and a lot of them tell you what signs/behavior to look out for in children. As for God, he is something people choose to believe in to help them cope with everyday life and I don't think it has anything to do with that. Its a problem in the brain...something is missing or there is too much of something. You think "God" would really create serial killers? And who is to say that its not the work of satan?

It would be convenient for them to say that they were made that way by God wouldn't it! It gives them an excuse so as there is nothing to repent and no reason to. Fortunately humanity has established ways to dish out punishment that we think fit the crime. Some matters in the here and now simply can't be left to God to control. God, is apparently apathetic towards murder and rape ~ for the time being.

The good and evil that you see don't even exist in reality, at least not outside of the mind that believes in them. They are only judgments passed by the individual from their own unique perspective. What one person sees as bad or evil may seem to be the only logical thing to do from some other perspective. The ideas of both good and evil are point of view specific. This is why people like bush and bin laden are either loved or hated. Bush is seen as good by people who share his fear based thought system. Those who have a compassionate concern for all of mankind often see him as evil.

Bin laden is much the same. He is a villain in much of the western world, but he is somewhat of a celebrated pop star on the Middle East. There are T-shirt shops that sell items with his picture as though he was Jesus. It all depends on your point of view or perspective.

To sum it all up good is the name we give to people who do things that we think we like.

Evil is the name we give to people who do the things that we don’t like.

This is of course based solely on our particular point of view.

Love and blessings

Druggies? What? You JUST lost your persuasive arugment. But yes, some people are. I knew a boy, who was just nasty, from the moment he was born. And when a teacher he was closed to him ask, he said he had no idea why and no control over it. He unfortunately a rotten apple and we couldn't do anything about it. Prison has him for life now.

His doctors also tried to put him on everything in the book after they tried therapy. Nothing worked.
