when you ask a question and people answer something that makes you laugh, giggle, or gives a really good answer?
I noticed a lot of people dont give thumbs up... or stars? what's up with that? I give a star to every one who answers my question unless it's a stup*d remark or something just to get points for the answer.

Yes, I thumbs up to an answer something that makes you laugh, giggle, or gives a really good answer.
I give people thumbs up when they answer my questions most of the time (only when there's not a lot of answers). I thumbs down the stupid answers.

I love to give thumbs up to well thought out or funny responses. However, every once in a while I read an offensive answer and I will give it a thumbs down. I do about 99 thumbs up to 1 thumbs down.

Yes i almost give people a thumbs up and a star if i love the answer and if it's funny. But no one never give me one back i guess it's because some people are just rude.

Only truly deserving answers get thumbs up and stars from me! If a joke is really and I mean REALLY FUNNY then I might even give 2 stars. But only very good answers get rewards from me. CJ

If i ask a question. i always give a thumbs up, whether i agree with the comments posted or not because atleast that person has expressed an opinion and answered the question.

I don't usually ask questions, but when I'm answering, I give thumbs up to a few different things:
a) Responses that I agree with
b) Responses that are well thought-out and intelligent
c) Responses that make me laugh

I star a question that is thought provoking and I haven't seen it asked 100 times before.
I give a thumbs up to answers that I personally agree with, or are well thought out and well articulated.

yeah...i'm the same. But sometimes I just forget, but I don't deliberatley not do it...I just forget from time to time that it's there. But I'm like you, if someone answers my question I give them kudos...but if they are rude or being a fool about things, I shrink them down to size....lol
It also makes me mad when I've answered a question and someone gives me a thumbs down just for simply answering, and I'm never rude or out of line. I'll see other ppl's answers get thumbs down too for answering the question well...it's just silly.
